Remove a record.
Ask us to take down or correct a record about you. It's always free.
- Who can ask
- The person in the record, their attorney, or someone allowed to act for them, such as a parent or guardian.
- What it costs
- Nothing. We never charge to remove or correct a record.
- What we need
- How to reach you, a way to find the record, and the reason. If a court expunged or sealed the record, or issued an order of nondisclosure, a copy of the order helps.
- How long it takes
- A person reviews every request. Some states set deadlines. In Florida, a booking photo must come down within 10 days of a written request (Fla. Stat. 901.43). Texas sets rules for records that were expunged, are under an order of nondisclosure, or are wrong (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code ch. 109). Where the law sets a deadline, we meet it.
